I would also add that I volunteered at this get out this get out the vote concert thing.

I think this list would be more interesting (and less like "hey look at how active we are") if we put in some comments with each thing we've done--how important/effective it is, etc...so we can guide other people (now and for future elections).

Here's my ranking of importance (in terms of the big goal, which is to get JK elected):

1. debate house party (this was exciting and we raised good money!)
2. calls to Arizona and Colorado re: early voting, and hosting phonebanking
3. moveon houseparties (we raised some dough, but attendance wasn't as big as we had hoped...it's helpful to have an event like the debate to tie your party to)
4. moveon phonebanking to NV...although Margaret reports that these people were not at all glad she called.
5. precinct captain duties. This is important for local people and for laying groundwork for future stuff...but it's true that how a couple hundred people in downtown sacramento vote isn't going to make a difference in the presidential election. It's cool to drive around our neighboorhood now and see even more Kerry lawn signs because of our efforts and those of our precinct captain helpers.
 

Yes, the rankings are more interesting. Just to clarify, I didn't mean this as a "hey look how great we are" list. I just wanted to keep a list and I am too lazy to keep a diary.
