Here's something that's been bothering me ... I think Scarlett Johansson is overrated as an actress. In every movie, she is exactly the same: mealy-mouthed and wearing a blank expression.

She is lame, and totally predictable. I wouldn't care except that everyone seems to be in love with her right now, giving her awards and putting her in all their movies. Bleh! Why?! Her performances in Ghost World, Lost in Translation, and The Man Who Wasn't There are all exactly the same -- the only thing that changes is her outfits.

I can't understand why people think she's so great. If you want to discuss this matter with me, please do so here: Film Flam Forum.

Email 1:

"Hi, i am looking for bargain wine and trying to get forestVille's web or phone. can u help? Thanks Cameron"

Yes, we can! Forestville is not carried by Wine.com, and doesn't seem to have a web site. Hrmph!

But you can buy it from wine-gourmet.com, though.

... and at the grocery store.

ENJOY!

We've gotten a few great pieces of email in the last few months ... but we are bad about responding. So I'm going to start posting it here, with answers for all to enjpy. Email addresses will, of course, not be posted. We are nice people, see?

I just got an email from the St Regis Hotel in Vancouver, where we stayed in September. This being ostensibly a travel zine, I thought I should mention that the St Regis is a very nice, affordable hotel just down the street from an excellent karaoke bar. And Vancouver is a wonderful city where women can walk down the street at night alone.
