Save Corti Brothers
I was dismayed this morning to read that
Corti Brothers has lost the lease on their store on Folsom Blvd, and have only 60 days to relocate. It seems almost impossible that they will be able to find a new site and relocate in time.
I am starting a
new web site to have a community location for those of us who would like to help save Corti Bros! Maybe the site won't go anywhere, but I have to try!
I am imaging myself helping them move their wine ... I really would be willing to volunteer my time.
Please post your ideas on new locations, ways to help, plans for boycotting Good Eats, and so forth!

Homemade
This weekend I was at La Trattoria Bohemia, and the sandwich I ordered came with a side of "homemade" potato salad. How can it be homemade if it's made in a restaurant? What does that imply about the rest of their food? Don't get me wrong, I love the place. But I think the "homemade" designation on restaurant food is peculiar.
