Summer time is fun time! For about 10 years, Motel Magazine has been bringing the world (or at least a few people) ocassional articles about interesting places, people, ideas and more. Our success is not due soley to Chris's phenomenal spelling abilities. No, it's also due in large part to the fact that we sometimes do things that other people wouldn't ever really even consider doing. We enjoy that kind of shit.
So, after all these years, we have several travel-related articles that we're proud of. We've collected them together into this handy guide.
Number 1: The Big Journey.
We took two weeks to drive from Michigan to
where we thought we might be able to find a place to live and work in California. Along the way, we didn't crash even once,
the car didn't break down, we had a coffee can full of money, and we met some really freaky people.
Number 2: Our Vegas Wedding.
We were very poor and fat, and we got
married in Vegas. Elvis showed up and a good time was had by all (mostly)!
Number 3: A Day at the Races.
We hit that old west trail and ended up seeing real
honest to goodness camels racing right there in Nevada.
Number 4: The Twine Ball.
Minnesotans are the greatest people in the world.
Number 5: Port Aransas.
Port Aransas, Texas is actually a nice place to
have a low-key, sun and fun vacation without too much annoyance.
