Announcing J to Steakers
Hello friends of Motel:
I'm pleased to announce that my company, Minnick Web Services, is organizing a "race" down Sacramento's J Street to compete with San Francisco's famous Bay to Breakers race. Our race has many benefits over San Francisco's, including:
1. J to Steakers is MUCH shorter. I expect it to be under a mile.
2. J to Steakers is in Sacramento. Need I say more?
3. and, best of all, J to Steakers ends somewhere where you can get a steak and a beer. I don't know where yet, but it will happen (we're looking for a restaurant sponsor...contact me if you happen to have a restaurant within a mile of 26th and J Street where we can get steak and beer).

I kept reading it as "J to StReakers." I thought it was going to be a nudie race, since some of the people in Bay to Breakers wear their birthday suits as costumes.
I'm happy it's not J to Streakers, since it's almost inevitable that people willing to get naked in public should never show their bodies to anyone.

I am very excited about this race!
And I agree with Carl's observation about public nudity. Almost always a very bad thing.
