It's interesting that he lists Captain Beefheart and Bob Dylan but there's no mention of Oven Mitt Johnson or Gunrack.
I really enjoyed reading this, actually. I wonder how many of those he'd he'd regret saying were his favorites if he had to listen to them regularly. That's the thing about most "favorite" things, I guess. Also, I hate when someone I respect as much as Tom throws in something that's "hard to find". Seems like a cop out to me. Other than that, this is a great list and I've got some record shopping to do.
