So they're considering naming the newly relocated Montreal Expos the Washington Grays, after an old Negro League team. I think that Motel should design a mascot for the new team, a grey alien, and thereby earn lots of money and praise.

I love this idea, though I doubt the team would go for it. I wonder what the mascot will be -- I mean, what is a grey? (other than an alien, of course)
But then again, I am a fan of the Oakland A's, and they have the same conundrum. They've "solved" it by using an elephant as a mascot. Not that it makes sense. Athletics = Elephants?
